Susan Tayloe

As the Business Coordinator, Susan handles all the internal finances at the Garden House and also assists the Executive Director in the daily operations and administration of the non-profit. Susan has a broad range of financial management experience as a former banker, cost accountant, financial marketing software trainer and curriculum writer. She also owned and operated all aspects of a consumer products business. She is a trained financial coach and continues the rewarding work of helping others create their ideal path to a positive financial present and future. With a penchant for organization, continuing education and planning, she is always looking for ways to keep expanding her sphere.

Susan became a certified Master Gardener in 2016 and is an active volunteer with the Orange County Extension Office in support of the University of Florida IFAS service.

Susan is excited about using her gifts of financial management, organization, administration and gardening to enhance the effectiveness of the EEE. She sees this role as the perfect marriage of her experience and is thrilled to be a part of the mission at EEE to empower students and their communities to become food confident with life skills that enhance their lives.

Outside of work, Susan loves to travel, experience new foods, work in her yard and enjoy time with family and friends. She is a native Floridian and enjoys all the non-touristy parts of Florida - hiking, the beach, canoeing the many beautiful waterways and admiring the plethora of wildlife in our midst.
