Polenta Bites with Apple and Honey Walnuts

If you haven’t worked with or consumed polenta before, it’s wonderful! Polenta is a dough made of corn that has originated in Italy. It has a similar taste to grits and is very versatile. This recipe calls for apple slices but you can easily swap in pear or fruit compote.

Brie & Honeycomb Amuse Bouche

A great complement to any meal is an amuse-bouche. This French term refers to a dish that can be eaten in one bite and is used to prepare the palate for the dinner to come. Brie cheese topped with local honeycomb is a great starter dish. It can be eaten room temperature or baked in the oven and pairs nicely with fresh herbs like rosemary for thyme.
