Students will create a Thanksgiving meal with ingredients sourced from our garden.

 

Our class is offered on November 20 and will feature a plant based Thanksgiving menu and gardening activities. Students will be able to:

•  Gather ingredients from the garden to cook all the classic sides like mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green beans & cranberry sauce

•  Learn what to do with all those Thanksgiving leftovers by making a plant based “loaded thanksgiving sandwich”

•  Pick sweet potatoes from our garden to roast as a delicious, healthy side

•  Make a whole pumpkin pie with real whipped cream to take home to enjoy at your Thanksgiving meal
